                رات کی تین رکعت کو وتر کیوں کہتے ہیں؟  

لفظ وتر کے معنی ہیں طاق۔ اللہ تعالیٰ کو طاق چیزیں پسند ہیں، اسی لیے رات کی نماز کا اختتام طاق رکعت پر کیا جاتا ہے۔ تین رکعت وتر سب سے زیادہ عام اور معروف ہیں۔
